HOW WE ARE HANDLING COVID-19
Friends of Cap Maison
We’re Looking forward to seeing you again.
It is with great sadness that we have closed our doors, albeit temporarily. On our beautiful island, we have not yet felt the full impact of this terrible virus. To date, Saint Lucia has only had a very few cases confirmed as positive and we pray that we have no fatalities. However, our hearts and minds are with everyone far across the oceans that separate us. We pray that you, your family, colleagues and friends are all well and safe.
We want to take this opportunity to thank the Cap Maison family; the staff, guests, partners and all those who work alongside us, who have made this hotel what it is today.
Saint Lucia, like most islands, is defined by a sense of community. This characteristic is of great importance, matched by the fact that we are a resilient people. There is a word in our Creole Patois: “Koudmaine” which means “lending a hand”. So over the weeks ahead, we’ll be lending a hand to each other, and finally, when we see you again, we’ll be in fine form, we promise.
Understandably, we’re all worried, struggling perhaps and even overwhelmed with what’s happening to our world right now. A trip to a tropical island with white sand beaches and rainforest waterfalls won’t seem in reach right now. But this will pass, we will survive, and we’ll come out the other end. When that happens, our hospitality industry, built on bringing people together, will come to the forefront.
Don’t cancel your vacation-simply postpone.
The knowledge that guests who cancelled their reservations at Cap Maison and have postponed instead is a terrific boost for the team.
As a heartfelt thank you to guests who have postponed, we’ve added a $200 resort credit and a one-category upgrade at the time of re-booking.
Full Details regarding postponement and re-booking
- Should any guests travelling between 25th March and 30 June 2020 wish to cancel their booking, we will hold the pre-payment towards a future stay. We ask that clients re-book and travel within a year of their expected arrival date. We understand that you may not be able to give us future dates right away – which is not a problem and we can sort that detail out later .
- Those who choose to rebook their stay will benefit from $200 resort credit, combinable with all offers (including our Complimentary Half Board offer). The resort credit offer will apply to postponed stays only.
- For bookings that are postponed, we agree to hold rates/offers, for one year from the original date of arrival. To be clear, we will hold the 2020 rate for a guest re-booking for 2021 during the same rate period. For example, a guest who cancels a reservation for May 2020, may visit during the period 3 April – 31 October 2021, at the same rate and offer as 2020. If the client wishes to re-book outside of the same time period, then the regular 2021 rates will apply. This offer is for cancelled/postponed bookings only and not for new bookings made.
- In the event that the guests wish to have a full refund, we will allow this.
